MISSION
It is the mission of General Mitchell Elementary School to ensure high levels of learning for each student. Through collaborative planning within the total school community, our children will grow and learn in a positive atmosphere where staff, students, and families together are enthusiastic about the teaching and learning process.
VISION
We believe that the most promising strategy for achieving the mission of our school is to develop our capacity to function as collaborative learning teams. We envision a school in which staff:
- Work collaboratively to focus on students achieving at high levels through co-planning, shared accountability, and studying our results.
- Work collaboratively to ensure inclusive environments where students develop strong relationships, are seen and heard, and are viewed from a strength based lens.
